As the prevalence of AI-generated fake videos continues to rise, the circulation of a deepfake video featuring Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna underscored the potentially detrimental impact of AI misuse, posing a threat not only to public figures but also to the general public.

In light of these developments, the need to identify deepfake videos has become increasingly crucial. Steps to verify the authenticity of videos, such as examining facial movements, evaluating posture and body movements, and scrutinizing audio-visual synchronization, among other measures, have been recommended to combat the deceptive nature of deepfakes. Moreover, the significance of discerning the credibility of the source and detecting any anomalies in the content has been highlighted as essential in combating the proliferation of deepfake videos.
