Tata Harrier EV Design

The Tata Harrier Electric is all set to debut in the Indian market at Auto Expo 2023. While its overall body design closely resembles the diesel-powered Tata Harrier, it features a fresh front profile distinct from its ICE counterpart. The front end showcases a new design with connected LED DRL units, a new LED headlight setup, fog light setup, and a new grille and bumper. At the bottom, it has been integrated with a silver finish and a silver skid plate in an excellent texture.

The rear end will also receive a modified bumper and stop lamp mount, along with a connected LED tail light unit. The side profile will be adorned with dual-tone aerodynamic alloy wheels, further enhancing its on-road presence.

Significant similarities can be observed in the cabin; however, the electric variant will feature a gear knob in place of a gear lever and new leather seats. Further substantial changes may also be expected.

It will be equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, and wireless Android Auto with Apple CarPlay connectivity. Notable highlights consist of wireless mobile charging, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting with multiple color options, height-adjustable driver seat with ventilated front seats, advanced connected car technology, air purifier, JBL sound system, and power tailgate with gesture control at the rear.

Tata Harrier EV Battery and Range

The Tata Harrier Electric is expected to offer a range of approximately 500 kilometers on a single charge. Currently, the Tata Nexon Electric provides a range of 465 kilometers on a single charge in its long-range battery variant. The Tata Harrier Electric is built on a completely electric platform, thus supporting both large and small battery packs.
