Remarkably, Taylor Swift’s album “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” has become her third number one album in 2023. This comes after her previous albums “Midnights” and “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” also reached the top spot earlier this year and in July respectively.
Although ARIA doesn’t release the overall sales, the industry association states that “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” has achieved the highest sales week ever for Taylor Swift on the ARIA Albums Chart. It is also the album with the biggest opening week since 2017 and set a new record as the highest-selling vinyl album in its first week.

All four of Taylor Swift’s re-recorded LPs have reached the top of the national chart. Two more are yet to be released.
Taylor Swift has achieved a new milestone by joining Madonna in third place on the list of acts with the most number one albums in Australia. Leading the list is Jimmy Barnes, who has 15 number one albums as a solo artist (he had an additional five with Cold Chisel), followed by the Beatles in second place with 14.
TayTay’s 12 leaders include the original version of “1989”, which was at the top for four weeks in 2014 and another five weeks in 2015.
With her latest release “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)”, Taylor Swift has achieved her 10th No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. This achievement is even more remarkable as eight out of the top 10 songs on the chart are from Swift’s new album. In fact, Swift has swept the top four positions on the chart.

The pop star has spent 23 weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, the trade body reports. This is the same number of weeks that “You’re The Voice” singer John Farnham spent at No. 1.

King Gizzard has been nominated in four categories for the upcoming 2023 ARIA Awards, which will take place on November 15th in Sydney.
Following closely behind is the new album by Australian singer and songwriter Angie McMahon, titled “Light, Dark, Light Again”. It debuted at No. 6 on the charts. This is McMahon’s second album, following her previous record “Salt” which reached No. 5 in 2019. In October, McMahon was recognized as Billboard’s Indie Artist of the Month.
