Michigan Suffered Embarrassing Loss On Friday Night
Friday night's game against Long Beach State was supposed to be a walk in the park for Michigan. It was anything but that.
Despite trailing at halftime, Long Beach State outscored Michigan by 10 points in the second half to pull off the upset.
Marcus Tsohonis put Long Beach State on his back, dropping 35 points on Michigan in Ann Arbor. Lassina Traore chipped in with a double-double.
Olivier Nkamhoua, Dug McDaniel and Tray Jackson led the charge for Michigan with a combined 69 points. The rest of the team, however, had just 17 points.

Jon Rothstein had the perfect way to describe this upset: "Michigan loses a buy game to Long Beach State. The epitome of brutality."
Long Beach State will want this momentum to carry over to Monday's matchup against Illinois State in the Gulf Coast Classic.
Michigan, on the other hand, will try to bounce back against Memphis in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
